how can i install SQL 2005 reporting services in XP Home

Hi,

I have windows XP home with SP2. i am planning to work with sql 2005 reporting services. when i am doing so it is asking me to install IIS. but IIS will now support to XP home edition.

SO is it mandatory for SQL 2005 reporting services need to have IIS. Plz let me know can i install SQL 2005 expression edition with reporting services

Reporting Services requires IIS and IIS is not part of XP Home.

You need tp update your OS...

you are limited to data out of this DB only but it is a good exercise.

If you have lots of memory, install virtual PC with win 2003 in it to test all your services.
